We’ve all seen or at least heard of hilarious hen night experiences. Even if you haven’t yet had the chance to partake in one of the funniest wedding traditions throughout the UK just yet, Hen Parties are infamous for their garish pink feather boas, comical pink L plates, drinks, shots and more. If you’re the first of your friends to become a ‘Bride-to-be’ you’ll be setting the tone for the rest of the Hen nights, so it is important to make an impression.
What better then, than a naked butler? It is pretty commonplace to hear about Stag do’s attending night clubs and strip joints in order to celebrate their last night of ‘freedom’ but in the past few years it has become increasingly popular for the ladies to indulge in a bit of eye candy as well. These ‘naked butlers’ are sexy men for hire who will serve as your butler for the whole evening, performing party tricks and even perhaps getting a little naked along the way. It all promises to be good, clean fun.
So what is it like actually being a naked butler? We take a look behind the scenes with one of the lovely butlers from Butlers with Bums to get a good glimpse of the life and times of a naked Butler.
What does your job as a naked butler involve?
Supposedly serving alcohol and other drinks to hen parties …I use the word ‘supposedly’ as the fun never seems to stop there! You can usually find me handcuffed to a hen or laying face down with certain ‘items’ (usually edible) being removed from certain cheeky parts of my anatomy!
How did you get into it, and how long have you been in the business?
I’ve been a butler now for over 2 years and I was recommended to start by a friend who is also a butler!
Do you have to do much training or practice? What would you say you do to be a naked butler?
Lots and lots of work in the gym and (trying to) eat clean
What is the strangest (or funniest) thing you’ve had happen/have seen at a Hen or Stag Party?
I can certainly tell you the scariest…Welsh girls!! They are absolutely crazy! As for the funniest, there are way too many stories to tell…!
Do you have any particular party tricks that are popular with your clients?
The old faithful has to be pin the penis on the…well penis!!! Haha!
What is the no.1 request you get asked most often as a naked butler?
Easy…”When do we get to see underneath?”
Outside of waiting on parties, do you have any unique or quirky hobbies or talents?
Other than the gym I like to push myself and do things for charity…Last year I managed to raise almost 5k for a cancer charity and climbed Kilimanjaro!!
What is your ideal event to be a naked waiter at? And why?
Super models Birthday party….I think my reasons are quite obvious there 
Have you ever taken part in a still life drawing class? If so, was it nerve-wracking the first time? – How do you keep focused?
I’m yet to man up and do one!! The idea still terrifies me!
Do you have any future plans for the naked butler scene, or does your future lie away from being a hunky butler?
I plan to carry on doing what I enjoy doing, but who knows what the future may hold for me and my cheeky bum
It is clear to see that although being a ‘Naked Butler’ is a little extra-ordinary; it is certainly not without its laughs and seems to be a genuinely enjoyable career. It is nice to see girls going out and having a bit of fun with butlers who honestly enjoy the work they do. Carry on the good times boys! We want to see more!
